FawnGuard ("we," "our," or "us") is a parental control application for iOS designed to help parents monitor and manage their children's digital activities. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the FawnGuard mobile application (the "App").

6. Children's Privacy
FawnGuard is designed for use by parents and guardians. We take children's privacy very seriously:
- Children's information (names and ages) is provided only by the parent/guardian and stored solely for app functionality.
- We do not collect personal data directly from children.
- Children's data is not shared with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
- Parents can view, modify, or delete their children's information at any time through the app settings.
- We comply with COPPA requirements and do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for the following periods:
- Account data: Retained for the duration of your account. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion request.
- Children's profile data: Retained for the duration of your account. Deleted when you remove a child profile or delete your account.
- Analytics data: Aggregated and anonymized after 14 months (per Firebase Analytics default settings).
- Subscription data: Retained as required by tax and financial regulations (typically up to 7 years for transaction records).
- Crash reports: Retained for 90 days.
8. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data:
- All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher.
- Data at rest in Firebase Firestore is encrypted using AES-256.
- Authentication is handled through Apple Sign In, leveraging Apple's security infrastructure.
- Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
- We conduct regular security reviews of our systems.
9. Your Rights

10. International Data Transfers
Your data is primarily stored in the European region (Firebase eur3). If data is transferred outside the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, or reliance on an adequacy decision.
11. Do Not Track Signals
FawnGuard does not track users across third-party websites or services. We honor Do Not Track browser signals where applicable.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy in the app and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
